BEN (1972)

BEN, secuela del film Willard, es una pelicula drama/terror acerca de un niño (Danny) solitario y antisocial que sufre el rechazo de quienes le rodean, esto le lleva a entablar una entrañable amistad con la rata BEN...este roedor es muy inteligente y es el lider de millares de ratas como vimos en la pelicula previa. Ben no dudara en volcar sus instintos homicidas contra cualquiera que dañe a Danny.

La fama de esta pelicula se debe en gran medida al exito de su cancion principal, el tema BEN interpretado por Michael Jackson; el tema estuvo nominado al Oscar en la categoria de "Mejor Cancion Original" y se llevo el Golden Globe en la misma categoria en 1973.


Resulta curioso que tan meloso tema se refiera a una rata.
